Day Trading set-ups after 11 e.s.t.?

    Very interesting to hear the comments about peoples' inability to trade after 11am. Personally, I've found many opportunities throughout the day. As long as there is good volume, there is opportunity.

    But then again, I've also heard the talk about daytrading and how impossible it is.

    Is this a function of the fact that you work mornings, or are your signals only generated after 11?

  10. I see the first 90 or so minutes as market noise. By 11 there should be a trend in place, and if there is, I will trade accordingly and hold to the close (and have a stop in place, in case I am wrong). If there is no trend, then I will probably not trade.

    If there is a trend, then the market should break to new highs or lows after 11 (and market internals should move accordingly). I will hop on at that time.
