Sorry to hear about your morning.

Excuse the outburst, sometimes this stuff can give you an adrenaline rush.

11a.m. uk market closing the big boys have placed or exited their positions for the day, the market markers take over and play with us.
if you play both sides of the market there are lots of trades, especially last 30-60mins
you can look at which stocks have run long or short and scale in a quick 20-50cents depending on the stock and its beta.
    a few thousand shares
ie atyt had a good run and pulled back from 16.68 to 30 area llast hour of trading.
we look for these trades everyday and usually find 2-3 trades available. we also try to keep the stock 30area so several thousand shares can be trades.
your charts will assist you in seeing the roll over in the stock by using the hour, 15,5..most here wait for the 5min roll over for saftey, you may lose a few cents but in general have a safe trade.
    for what it's worth

Like your multiple time frame use but ,
    with a non scalping style;
last half hour in ES/YM derivatives is my least favorite.

Even if one takes last half during regular hours, enjoy having more than a half hour to trend trade , may require it.

  5. I'm with you Murry.....last 30-60 for me not enough time for trend to develop.....but I can see how Nassau and those with more scalp based styles can feast in this time frame.......

Nassau....what is meant when you say, "we wait for charts to roll over?" I'm not familiar with the term, "roll over."

when we notice a roll over it is when we notice a change in the direction of the stock from ie long 60, less long 15, 5min is going short.
so it is a sentiment change in the stocks behaviour
short or long term no one knows so we take what it gives us.
but atyt was a good example yesterday, cheap stock so 5k made a quick 1500 dollar
