Day-Trading Platform - Which Do You Use

Discussion in 'Retail Brokers' started by CAPTJohnny, May 28, 2010.

  1. Hello,

I am wondering what platforms you all are using for day trading.

I have been using Schwab Active Trader but I find it is very difficult to get executed in heavily traded stocks with low beta. They route the order flow to UBS, which in turn doles it out to whatever ECN they have to meet quota with that month, which makes it very hard for me to track.

More importantly, they don't "in house" the order flow, and in a world in which everyone else is, you become truly retail and you become only executable when moving through your price point and rarely before. Basically being traded around all day.

I am wondering what firms you are using for actively trading, I thank you in advance.
