  1. J_Smith ...... Pick the strikes according to how you think the underlying will trade while the position is open

Right, and I am clairvoyant. One or both of you will come back here, 30 mins or more after it hits the tape, and show us where you "got out" based upon 30 to 90 mins of hindsight.

Yes OTM, but I believe if you can identify the correct instruments to spread trade then you can reduce your risk greatly, which is the main goal.

The spreads posted are aapl and another instrument - I do not want to mention as some people might try it and lose money - needs a bit more testing to see how consistent the charts are, but my first impressions are vg - time will tell.

The last chart is very interesting, as both trades show a profit - this requires some more investigation and then an understanding of the greeks in relation to the outcomes - some P&L diagrams will be required also - worst case scenarios have to be accounted for, especially if selling one leg - buying both legs is not an issue as you know, for your max risk is set at your debit cost.

I will continue to investigate and test, in the meantime I will try some more aapl options :)

Josh must be busting with enthusiasm. I know I am. A bunch of entries (some of which you're shorting naked) in a mysterious ticker. Really quality shit here.

You can think what you like DO, for it makes not one little bit of difference :)

I can assure you they are not astrological signals, and it is posts like this that stop me from showing the full charts - why should i post my hours of work to rude people like you, who have no respect for others - what is your real problem anyway?

Let's try and keep this thread civil and clean - I don't want to have to go the banana box again, really!

  7. Let's cross that bridge when we get to it. I'm expecting a clear winner or loser - nothing in the grey area where the $113.00 option hits a high of $0.60 on one trade.

You may not know it, but your replies show what you really know!

K, no more, as I am easily persuaded to part with my bananas, but it is not fair on the OP, who genuinely started the thread with good intent - so act your age and grow up.

You made three bucks on the first trade in hindsight. The second (sic) trade was an outright short. The only thing to be gleaned by this is that you're a charlatan and Josh must be the dumbest mofo extant.

Here's the thing... I will BTC you $1K the moment that you can show me legit fills associated with the previous post we're discussing (entry at 1.18, exit 4.26). Surely you can redact your name and account number to walk across the street for $1,000 USD.

Read the posts CORRECTLY - as you say, wtf!

I don't show anyone anything unless they are civil and good mannered, which you are obviously not. Your grammar and language indicates that you are carrying a load of problems around whit you - so I will suggest you go and have a good talk with yourself, or someone who might be able to help you overcome your social issues, for they are clearly evident to me, and many others!

If you do not like what you read, that is fine, you are entitled to your opinion, but there is absolutely no cause to be rude and aggressive - this is the typical sign of a weak mind and someone who has major issues in their life - the only person you are fooling is yourself, "dude"!
