18 Jun end Eur session so far, mega movers were : DAX, NQ Germany, Italy, US bonds The record Germany buxl day range was on 20 Jun 2016 (9% day range!). Now it is at 3.5 points or 1.7% day range. hmm. Draghi spins the earth faster. Wonder how FTSE 100 and Gilt are doing. Perhaps I should subscribe to the expensive ICE Europe data. Anyway I have archived quite a few almost dead, virtually not moving currency futures, which move slower than green bean growth rate. and I have modified my trading desk for additional monitors.
cont ... US session. my goodness ! my limit / stop /market or whatever order to long NQ not filled! what heavy traffic and what terrible latency problem luckily I managed to long ES from another trading platform. luckily I have multiple brokers. strangely Russell 2000 was the lead. US must be happy with Draghi's.
20 Jun Asian session Gold signals : 828a up 845a up again 904a reverse down 923a reverse up didn't subscribe to Japanese bond data. no idea how it is doing. US, Germany bonds already up during yesterday US session. And up again during Asian session at 89 degree gradient. Let's see how they behave during Eur session. Hangseng - now sleeping. don't disturb him. He might wake up later. simsci, China A50 - up
20 Jun mid Asian / early Eur session Let's see if India NIfty, Dax will move. NQ already moved alot. Bonds expected to move too. gold appears to have found its comfort zone.
20 Jun end Eur / early US session what happened so far ... Yesterday during fomc meeting session, market was rather untrendy / jerky. worse, I woke up in the middle of my sleep to trade. today during Asian and Eur session, market was very trendy & market moved very smoothly, ie very easy to earn money. Unfortunately such smooth easy to earn $$$ market happen once in a blue moon. germany buxl decided not to move. US Ultra T-bond went up during Asian session. During Eur session, it went down to where it came from. strange ... why news reporters / financial analysts like to talk abut stoxx600? volume traded is rather low. Will there be any meat left during US session? Or will market reverse direction? or sleep? or will there be lots of land mines? No idea. not interested to predict.
