tfp is the BEST TRADER i know and has taught me everything I know. Glad you stopped by tfp. One can learn a LOT from shopster and tfp.
A and C values should be calculated based off OR and VOLATILITY of the instrument. For example , a crude oil trader using 5 minutes OR and using 8 ticks of A value would have rough time. That sheet is a guideline. Whether one is trading a stock, futures or whatever, first determine OR you want to use , and then use 10 or 20 days ATR of the instrument to get values. I trade only Crude oil so can not be of more help with A , C values for other instruments. Maybe i need to read book again as every time i read it i get some thing new which i missed the first time.
Zenster " long and wrong " update. trend is still down as price runs into the money zone and pukes lower in each grease session. no abatement on ema direction. the " Z meister " is three full points " under water " but still standing on his one pegleg long. cheers, s
the " three sisters " applies across all markets. they can be increasing, flat topped or decreasing. this is a MM tactic explained in this thread. MMs can only count to 3, hence a reversal once we hit that number. s
LOL shopster. You have set an EXAMPLE ( in CLINT EASTWOOD style) as to what will happen to traders with unprofessional behavior.
Test of A down level after confirmation set up. I find it hard to go long after A down unless I see some buying on VOLUME. With 30 ticks pf potential gain on both sides (long or short) i feel comfortable form the short side. Longs from low of the day has higher potential reward but i do not want to sit for 1 hour holding a position against the trend.
