I am somewhat disappointed w/ postings of your indicators on this thread, TheRumpledOne

I come here to see what I can learn from jjrvat but always end up looking at your 'make believe' indicators.

I realize that this is a public forum, unlike TradeStation’s forum where you can’t longer post.

One can only speculate why you have been rejected from so many popular forums, it may have been due your trading success or jealousy on the part of the establishment as you have pointed out in the past, and yet I have not seen one single indicator including those published in your $500 book passing scrutiny of back testing.

What are you really offering here, that jjrvat did ‘t cover already in detail?

Whatever your agenda maybe I suspect you’re harming more small traders than you’re helping with your unrealistic behavior.

Please take this under your consideration before you’ll destroy this thread which I hope is not your intention

    Thank you,

It's funny that so many people backtest.

If backtesting was all that great then wouldn't somebody have cornered the market by now.

I think it's like jjrvat said above

"The answer is very easy a valid trade is a valid trade no matter how hard we try to “tweak” or improve or indicators to tell us that there is a trade where is not."

Meanwhile, I'll just keep taking the signals from my "make believe" indicators, managing the trades, and enjoying the pips.

  4. RumpledOne:

    Im curious.

You are a very adept coder.

Why not code a simple strategy using your newly developed indicators and demonstrate some of the performance.

For a trader/coder of your caliber it should not take much effort at all.

  5. I don't think you understand what you really have to code to have an automated system.

There are so many things you have to test for....

Not to mention what happens when the connection dies, the computer hangs, the power goes out, the cable goes out, etc...

These indicators have become a distraction.
    Please give them a rest.

Hi... this is a great thread and I really enjoy reading what jrvat has to say. .

Having said that, I agree with all the others comments about TheRumpledOne's charts.... It is distraction to what jrvat is trying to do with this thread. I don't often post but really want jrvat's thread to stay true to what he has to say.

  8. I will respond to conversations and debate about learning HOW to trade. I will not address negative comments and I expect others not to either.

In the event we find ourselves in the midst of a disgruntled trader, we need to ignore and move on. Deal?

Debate is healthy, arguing is not.

    FYI

You can add TRO to your ignore list just by left clicking on his name and clicking again on "Add TheRumpledOne to your ignore list".

This way you can avoid his NOT FREE <--- hint hint, indicators. or you can keep seeing them and eventually donate him some money to use them... oh yes it's weird... someone with such powerful money makers indicators shouldn't be in need of donations, right? <---- hint hint :D

    Best regards
    Another disgruntled trader...lmao

  10. Do you have indicators that I can use to display the wave as being discussed in this thread to allow a slightly longer term approach. I will also pm you to avoid taking time out from this thread.
