The best time to trade is defined by the moment when you get your signals. Every day it can be a different period. Can start early or late, and can last short or long. You never know it in advance. The opening is most of the time a difficult one. Newbies should avoid the opening.
Cl, GC and Eurex any time I am awake outside of ES. ES up to hour before day session if there is a report, otherwise manually first 60 minutes or less. Currencies before day session of ES. I scalp just about every market I trade manually, just easy as I have evolved this way and basically I can't stand sitting behind screen all flipping day. It gets to a point this is so flipping boring. I agree, opening is no place for newbie, wait ten minutes.
