Day traders, what's your trading time?

Discussion in 'Trading' started by hurricane_sh, Apr 13, 2016.

  1. The best time to trade is defined by the moment when you get your signals. Every day it can be a different period. Can start early or late, and can last short or long. You never know it in advance.
The opening is most of the time a difficult one. Newbies should avoid the opening.

  2. On many days those that know how to trade before Europe closes can take the rest of the day off.

Cl, GC and Eurex any time I am awake outside of ES.
ES up to hour before day session if there is a report, otherwise manually first 60 minutes or less.
Currencies before day session of ES.

I scalp just about every market I trade manually, just easy as I have evolved this way and basically I can't stand sitting behind screen all flipping day. It gets to a point this is so flipping boring.

I agree, opening is no place for newbie, wait ten minutes.

  4. I trade the first three hours of the day and that's it. Doing that time I only trade a clear setup !
