waiting t+3 in your 3k cash account is hardly day trading.

you might as well open a margin account and wait for your day trade
    counter to reset, even better.

No, nobody needs to trade with 300K, how big are your monthly expenses, cut back on things live a cheaper life an mate traded with that kinda money 3months till all gone!! ( sunk it into 1 company first trade, started dropping and held it all the way to Zero, not very smart )

Yes, I agree, not very smart. What is the average return on an account? 10%? 300K is on the low end, based on annualized returns.

I agree, cutting back on on expensive expenses is the way to go.

Before anyone even THINKS about daytrading should do the following:

    1. Pay off the car note.
    2. Pay off the mortgage.
    3. Keep credit card balances low.

I'm up about 200%, 3K to 9K this year day trading Dax and NQ and hitting the leverage hard but stocks yeah 10% a lot of work to get to 10% mind, before and after trading hours.

    1. £500 old nail of a Vectra 1.9cdti ( sold SAAB to make way for a BMW 530D soon mind )
    2. Rent
    3. No credit cards as self employeed and no credit available LOL

My monthly requirement is only $800 per month, still do a bit of IT on the side to stop the boredom well did, not 1 work call this month, eccckssss first time ever )
