Day trade call question

Would you say if I do this, it will also be permitted?

Let's say I accumulated $7500 in a day, and desperately want to get rid of all $7500 by the end of the day.

Buy $5000 of A
Buy $2500 of A
Sell $5000 of A
Buy $2500 of A
Sell $5000 of A

Two trips (as defined by how much I sell) are both 5k.

Because normally if you do this:

Buy $5000 of A
Buy $2500 of A
Sell $5000 of A
Sell $2500 of A

The trip is 7500 and will trigger a call.

If I can't do example (32), can I do (31) as a work around, by buying another 2500 before the final 5000 sell?

 

Is this specific to tastyworks? I'm with IB and have not encountered a similar situation.
