Hard for me to fathom there will be a storage number higher than projection. We've had supply disruptions, record heat...Although, some of that area has no load on the power grid. Hrmm. I feel the storage number will be lower than projection. Thus, logically, the spot price should go up.
Well, I got it half right. Storage was higher, but spot price is higher too! I HATE energies sometimes, lol!
10 Sept What has happened so far .... Asian index futures (hang Seng, Taiwan index, China A50, Simsci) continue to have a very healthy day range US index futures went up in tandem with Asian index futures European index futures - all sleeping copper, crude oil up due to Asian index futures or whatever reason gold - it has been swinging up and down. so most likely it will continue to swing up and down. Natural gas - it moved massively over the past 2 days. It seems to be very tired and needs to take a rest.
16 Sep Natural gas trading up/down / time / max reward : risk ratio down @237p, 8 down 628p, 12 up @853p, 25 down @912p, 6 .... max max RR ratio ? getting harder to trade as the candlesticks are getting longer, movement getting more violent stop-loss has to be increased by 2x NG inventory news coming up shortly
usually, I use 120 volume chart for entry, max stop loss 12 ticks On a violent day like on 16 Sept, I have to use a smaller volume chart (60 volume), and increase the max stop loss to 25 ticks.
Asian vs European vs US Index futures Most index futures continue to have a massive day range My 1st preference is to trade the Asian index futures due to their good trendiness. age is catching up. US daylight savings coming to the end. Good time to stop trading US index futures which tends to be not so trendy.
20 Sept Natural gas week opening analysis very unlikely it will move over the next few hours. __________________________________________ 20 Sept Eur session - Abundance day #2 The harvest should be good
20 SEP summary The day is not over yet. anyway, The summary best session to trade: Asian and Eur sessions. Today, US index futures did move during the Asian session. This is quite rare. After Trump's era, US index futures hardly moved during the Asian session. Worst session to trade : US session Asian index futures (China A50, Hangseng, Taiwan Index, India Nifty ...) have been moving massively over the past few weeks due to the various major China stocks news. Eur index futures - 2nd Abundance day Natural gas - unlikely there will be major movement over the next few hours. copper, oil moved in tandem with index futures. index down ---> gold up bonds and GBP also moved. I don't focus on these.
