Cont ... indeed just 1 signal during the early US session. Luckily I stopped trading early. If not, I would be gnashing my teeth and weeping what to focus on? index futures, bonds, perhaps hard commodities what to avoid? gold perhaps currencies
31 Aug US session what happened so far .... mega movers were : Taiwan index, India Nifty, China A50, Hangseng all down. we will probably know why these moved so much a few days later from the news reporters. sleepers were: dax, bonds, perhaps currencies and hard commodities
31 Aug summary # signals during early asian session : 5 # signals during early Eur session : 10 # signals during end Eur session : 5 # signals during early US session : zero there might be lots of gnashing of teeth and weeping.
Asian session I focus mainly on Asian index futures & perhaps gold Eur & US session I focus on asian / Eur / US index futures, hard commodities (gold, copper, NG, crude oil ...), main currencies, long term bonds I keep an archive list too. There are lots of things which are not very good for day trading. The list includes food commodities (soya, lean hog, wheat, ...) hard commodities like silver, PL, PA, HO RB, palm oil, rubber, iron ore ... other currencies like Chinese Renminbi short term bonds various MSCI / FTSE indices. Occasionally I might trade these things.
Thanks, maxinger. To get more specific - which stock index in Asia and Europe? I've considered adding in an Asian index, but not sure if it's practically possible for me.
