  2. Big parabolic price moves in the DAX futures happen often.

I'm not too concern if it was 200 points, 201 points, 175 points, 184 points or whatever.

My point, big paraboic price moves that slices through several s/r levels without hesitation is common place with the DAX.

More often than not they are related to particular types of key market events.

Will most likely see 1-2 more big price movements over the next few trading days...

    Nothing unusual.

  3. cascading stops with no liquidity to absorb them since the cash market was closed and most of the big participants in that market were not around.

  4. You´re right, Frank from London, it has been a really boring session while listening to Uncle Ben´s uninspiring wording on inflation targets....so why to "absorbe" any DAX dips if subprime woes hitting the markets ?

Nice 100k... well done, guess the people that stay on after hours deserve the extra effort... or do you trade us hours?

Either way well done... reminds me of the guys that raked in on the Fixed income spike a couple months back when euribors, eurodollars, bunds, everything went through the roof and the guys that were still trading at 20:00 london time did VERY well...

Heh, well guys I know the calendars and use them. Btw. I plan may trades for the news.

Found the reason. My history data does not include after market hours so that must be the reason why I didnt find anything similar. Going to dig more this.

I am not complaining that DAX cannot move and fast (for me it's a good thing) but I am very interested in about the spikes and how they develop and when. I am new to the DTB products, but not in trading. Just going to learn how things are working here.

    So lesson learned ;)

Anyway, thank you very much for your support !!
