sometimes Dax leads the ES sometime Es leads the DAX. Depends on what time of Day it is too. Some times one breaks and the other doesnt. Now THAT always offers a few different interesting options!

 

do we get spread credit for trading DAX against the ES?

Who exactly do you think should be giving you any sort of credit for holding positions in 2 different contracts on 2 different exchanges that are not always open together ?

 

And that are denominated in 2 different currencies?
