David Nassar Trading Live.

  1. I gotta come onto this thread in support of Mr Nassar... yes he runs a business to make money (but so do we all, in our daytrading)... in and of itself, that should not be a reason to slam him... the bottom line is whether or not you can gain any insights from David Nassar... I certainly have from reading his books... any person's approaches and methodologies are, admittedly, an acquired taste, but I rate David Nassar up there with the likes of Tony Oz, Alan Farley, Vadym ("Threei") and Don Bright for useful insights... yes, each, of these individuals offers markedly different insights, but additional knowledge never hurts even if we don't personally implement it...

Without people providing us with material to digest and ponder upon, all of our learning curves would have been much tougher.... the more diverse insights that we are exposed to, the better, in my view...

    Dat,

I find your entire post to be a class act! Very well written! And the above quote is all that should really matter. There is no one else on this thread trading real money live in front of everyone on a weekly basis for free.

I agree. That was an awesome post DATTrader. I was writing one myself at the same time but when I read yours, I just quit because you conveyed exactly what I was trying to say.

    This industry sickens me.

    Hi

I am wondering whether taking the "How to get started Day Trading" home study course is worth getting instead of attending the MW 4 day course in Denver. Its a lot cheaper and if there is
not much difference in the material covered why not just order
the tapes. Any insight as to which one is more useful (Tape
vs the 4 day course) would be appreciated. I am a total newbie
in day trading (just got my Realtick account set up) so any information would be appreciated.

FWIW - I will say this much - I don't think there is anyone or any school that backs their product with a satisfaction guarantee - I never asked for a refund, but David Nassar felt it was the right thing to do, and I applaud him and his company for that. Definitely something to keep in mind for anyone considering taking a course there. They obviously maintain very high standards. (just my opinion - no need to flame me for it)

Thanks again David - I hope to take you up on your generous offer sometime in the future.

  7. mbg,

The offer stands. Whenever you can get a "hall pass" from your wife! lol

I don't know what it is...why do guys have such a hard time talking their wives into letting them go to cool places like Denver?

I have the same problem. I'm at the Las Vegas Money Show next week and my wife insisted she wanted to come as well. I hope she like craps! BTW, is their any education on boards for craps? I'm OK at it, but I don't understand it completely. Where are the odds? The market I'd say, but I'll play anyway. Don Bright are you out there?...I bet you know the game well...got any pointers?

Seriously mbg, whenever you can make it back to Denver we will trade together for the day. I hope you all have a great weekend...

Since I will also be there, just give me your money and I will WISELY gamble it for you :) I am a graduate of the Casinowise gambling school :) That is, after I have given them enough of my hard-earned money, I wisely say thank you, but I had enough. Rumor says that there are better places to spend your money in Las Vegas, but we must ask Don about that one :) :) :)

I wonder what is more likely to happen. Take $100 chip and put it on number 7 on the roulette table. If it hits, let it ride. If it hits again, let it ride. If it hits again cash out. Or is it more likely that CMRC will hit the 1000 price target that was given to it a couple of years ago? Or will CSCO go back to 80?

Forget it, you probably have a better chance of hitting the superfacta on the Kentucky Derby tomorrow than any of the above options.

    Have a great weekend.

Remember QCOM being blessed with that 1000 target, didn't know CMRC had a similar honor...:p
