I was thinking of that record "Eat a Peach..."

 

I know, off-topic silliness

But this make me think of Duane Allman. In his short life, a fabulous musician.

 

They were a little bizarre though. Legend has it that one of the brothers shot the other one in the foot to get him out of the draft. And what can you say about Gregg who married Cher twice?

 

The Duane Allman Anthology album is good ... playing with the likes of Boz Scaggs, Clapton, Delaney & Bonnie, Wilson Pickett, ...

Then there's Live at the Fillmore East; great double album. Saw them live a few times back in the 70's. Had all their albums from the late 60's until early 80's. Guess I'm dating myself a bit.
