is there some kind of software that will allow me to analyze a given period of historical data for a minimum of price movement from one day's close through the 1st hour of trading the following day? i'd like to be able to input data for a particular stock and get a percentage for the number of times it met or exceeded a minimum amount of price movement during a specific period of time. i'm sure this can probably be done with excel but i'm not very good with the formulas and have little patience for it. i've done a little research on the available software out there but there's so much it becomes a little confusing. if anyone has any suggestions or experience with this type of software i'd love to hear it. thanks, Darren
