So I am planning on developing a website that performs automated technical analysis. It would also be nice to be able to integrate financial news and fundamentals as well... but most important is to be able to display a chart, volume, etc. Anybody have a CLUE where these financial websites we see everyday get their data? This is the most fundamental question but also seems to be the most difficult to answer from my perspective.
I've been researching data feeds for a monitoring app I want to build so I had a list handy. To get you started here are a few that are marketed for use in websites. Be sure to look at licensing as most datafeeds do not permit you to redisplay on the web.
