When the broker is not the market, as is the case in interbank Forex dealing you needs feeds reflecting the interbank market.

Retail FX brokers can and will control the data feed if needed. They are the "house" not the market.

So I guess it you are interested in playing a FX game you can work with your brokers data. If you are interested in the FX market, you need market data. The good ones work with multiple source feeds.

Thanks for that Edge, espeically with EBS data you can't go worng there.

If you don't mind me asking, how much do you pay for having this feed per mth ?

  5. Make your point to instutions, hedge funds, investment banks. Your point is meaningless to retail traders.

  6. CQG with FX, that would run you about $700.00 per month.
Bloomberg with EBS FX data that would run you about $1300.00 per month.

Wow those are pretty punchy numbers !! they are more suited to the banks and hedge funds of this world.

Surely there most be ones cheaper than that and as good.

What about Esignal or Tenfore ?

  8. IMHO unless you are trying to execute orders in excess 20,000.000, just stick to your brokers quotes. This thread was started by someone trying to push Reuters platform.

I don't really like Hotspot spreads to be honest with you especially in the retail market.

How much do you pay for their live feed ?
