I think the $540 fee is self-selecting, in that only those who have a system that works and are confident in their system will be willing to pay. So it is win win for you, Darwinex and the investors.

darwin's return distribution chart is 10 columns on the left, negative, and 10 columns on the right, positive......

the width value, or increment, of each column so to speak, is derived by taking the highest weekly gain or loss and dividing by 10......

mine currently runs in 0.67 increments..... seems like a cumbersome value......

with a max weekly return of 10%, the columns would increment by 1...... far better...... now, the hard part.......

    10% in one week......h

Looks very impressive, thought that negative outlier week is probably just a product of statistics. By random chance, a string of losses in one week is possible.

that's a good point and something i've given much thought to......

but i just end up more confused......

until we can see our actual darwin signal account trades , it's hard for me to draw conclusions...... and would need to know just what the phrase week of 10/8/24 represents to them...... is 8 the first or last day in that supposed week...... 10/8/24 for me was a tuesday.....

please keep in mind, whatever darwin is doing to my trades it is for my better...... there is actually no doubt at all about that......

now look at the picture below of my best and worst weeks....... worst shows 10/8/24 ...... best shows 10/21/24......

when we look all my trades for the worst week, 10/8/24, it does not even appear to be a negative week......

now the trades for the best week, 10/21/24, appear good but are no where near as good as the week of 10/15/24......

one single day alone in that week was around 15k......

maybe a week is tuesday to tuesday and the 21 represents the last tuesday.....

    //------

it would really be helpful to see their exact trades......

but there is no doubt at all, whatever they are doing is improving my returns by over 50%.....

my actual returns are slightly over 7%...... their returns on my trades is over 12%......

they are far better than me......h

now if someone would remind the usd of the saying, "buy the rumor sell the fact", my wheat and soybean trades might see green again......

figured buying grains would be a safe election trade.....

    dang was i wrong......h

So they are cherry picking your trades perhaps using their own algo?

Another YouTuber also made a video about how paying the one time free for additional funding is worth it at Darwinex

kinda doubt they are cherry picking individual trades, that would give a inaccurate evaluation of the trader.... and it might take several years before anyone could be accurately evaluated..... if ever..... maybe never......

they are for sure cherry picking the contract size based on their risk engine math.....

that is what i'm after, trying to figure out the optimum contract size based on what they fell is optimum.....

the only way i can see to do it is to force them to reduce their risk multiplier to 1.0 .....

once that is achieved, my contract size, var and such should match theirs...... i'll have something to work with then.....

as it is now, they are much better at being me than me.......h

november so far has been not what was expected...... perhaps unbelievable..... confusing to say the least.....

below is why it is mandatory to figure out darwins risk engine..... and yet another reason why metatrader trade reports must be taken with care......

do currently have a floating loss of -5450$...... that will shortly be 0...... closing all just as soon as this is written.....
    //--------

took maybe 6 losses first week of this month..... less than 3000$ total.......

since then, i've had 149 winning trades in a row for a total of 34,850$ gain...... remember, -5450 floating loss......

on november 1st, my total return was just under 12%...... today, my total return in now just little over 11.5 %......
so after making over 34k, my return has fallen......

how can that be...... why after making an additional 34,850 would my total return be less......

    sounds impossible......

the good news is........ i might have figured out the reason and a solution.......

the bad news is........ i wasted 34k and 2 weeks for the education.......h

It is unclear how a risk engine ought to consider an unrealized loss. The easiest is to consider it equal to a realized loss, but this might not be accurate given a swing trade system takes time for the trade to develop.

Same issue applies to unrealized gains.

that will be my next test...... trying to see the ongoing effect of 20 or more open winning trades at a time......

the issue, for me, might be that darwinex is using the hedge version of metatrader 5 and not the standard net version...... all my code is written for the net version used in the states......

there might be a darwin var saturation point of open trades where no more trades are added...... any trade after that point might be passed on...... that makes sense.....

possibly if my gold trades were at the saturation point and in drawdown, later you might make millions in ym and es, yet all those trades will have no positive effect......

the original gold trades must be dealt with first...... similar to fifo......

once we learn the ropes, things will get easier......h
