Darrell Martin and Apex - legit or scam?

So many red flags are going up in my brain in regards to this company: www.apextraderfunding.com

The whole feel is off. The CEO comes off as a sleaze-bag, feels like he's gaslighting clients. I don't have any hard proof but my instincts are letting me know something is off.

Anyone have any info on this guy or the company? Are prop firms worth doing, and if so, is Apex legit?

    Thanks.

    Saw this on another board:

Read the posts on that board. The cash cow isn't producing enough for payouts. Probably hit the wall sooner rather than later.

There are legit prop firms. Don't think Apex is one of them.

Experienced Traders should stick with prop firms
that Fund you an account for a Fee, and not for an evaluation.

If one decides the evaluation route, never buy
an evaluation with a time limit. That's just a cash cow
for prop firms taking advantage of inexperienced traders.

Thanks Mike. It seems like these immediately funded programs are basically having you put up the drawdown yourself and then giving you access to leveraged capital, correct? Seems like you're basically paying for the privilege of using their leverage, which I'm cool with, because there are no gimmicks or mental gymnastics that a lot of these other funding companies play.

What board are you talking about ZTrader? All I see is a YouTube link, and most of the comments are just generically praising Apex.

I also went to the Apex website and there is no mention of Vince or how much he has gotten paid, so either he left Apex or it's all hogwash.

    You are welcome Rutro

There are Prop Firms that will refund your
fee once you complete the evaluation process.
Which makes absolute sense if they are actually
    seeking traders.

If a firm is not willing to refund their fee,
it's probably because their bottom line is from racking
in fees and not from taking a % of traders profits.

If they were honest they would present statistics of how many
traders are actually trading live accounts.

    Due diligence always required.

    To your trading success.

I've been questioning Apex for weeks now and all I get is stonewalled and gaslit. Very suspect company and I hope they burn to the ground.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Here’s a way to see if this is true.
    1) Go to the group apex trader and add yourself to it.
    2) Disagree or at the very least present a different idea on any of Darrell Martins posts.
    3) Log on 3 hours later and you’ll see he blocks you and you’re kicked out of that group.

why anyone needs to be constantly asking for positive reviews is beyond me…. This guy seems really weird.

  10. Usual haters on here who think they are relevant.
I've withdrawn from Apex for well over a year, monthly.
Queue the haters to say I'm a shill. Have fun jerking each other off.
