    There are people in Texas being billed, right now, for electricity at the rate of $9 per kWH when their regular rate is 12-cents per kWH. Some will get power bills for the month of February in the multi-thousand dollar range.

    Half of the wind turbines are frozen and inoperative. Shocking I know.

    Rolling blackouts today in Texas, in 0 degree weather.

    One thing is clear... distributed energy production is the future.

    There are people sitting there with 12 kW of solar panels on the roof but they are without power because.... grid tie systems mandated by the power companies in bed with state governments.
