COVID put a big dent on oil. The Bakken and Permian basin glut reminds me of the Spanish bankrupting from flooding the market with cheap gold from the Americas
A lot of people have underestimated the impact of Covid-19 on the oil industry in the United States and Canada. The same is true on Light Crude Oil CL futures. wrbtrader
Axios: “This is one of the bigger signs of trouble for President Trump that we’ve seen in a poll: Of the final debate’s seven topics, Joe Biden won or tied on all seven when viewers in a massive Axios-SurveyMonkey sample were asked who they trusted more to handle the issue.”
Article on Ohio today a state the Republicans need badly and held in 2018. There are grassroots women's movements who are campaigning against Trump including some career Republican voters. Which suggests my theory about the women's vote has some serious merit. I can't see Trump winning. I will be more shocked if he wins now then in 2016. If it occurs, I would attribute it to the electoral college system, some luck, and the fact there are only two parties. But I highly doubt he has a realistic chance of winning. In 2016, the "silent" majority wanted change. I suspect same this time, it's just Trumps on the other side of it now.
I’m not buying that Trump lost anymore support from the debate. Survey Monkey is one of the least reliable polling companies out there and it typically skews left (by +5% according to 538). They’re on the verge of being banned by 538 with a D- rating, because of how inaccurate it is. We’ll know in a few days whether the debate had much impact.
Dude, yer Canada! The hell you say! You need some more exciting Canada things in your life so you will stop snooping in on USA happenings. You guys are so bored there up north. Here, how about a flight from Paris to Toronto? That is exciting for Canada, yes!
