first attempt to post came up with some kind of VB(?) error. anyway, dumped 1/2 YM @ 9112 for +27, will reload below 9085. position sizes are constant unless otherwise specified with "2x" or whatever.
this is absolutely beautiful. the pathological case for the Noise Box is vertical moves, a move like this happening while the Noise Box is on the sidelines greatly minimizes the amount of whackage possible. hope it sinks like a rock right through AH.
i love this game. pulled +0.5% out of the market going LONG on a day when the dow is DOWN 1.5%. size for survival. take profits when offered.
AH/overnight YM buy orders in for 8932/8900. have a shot at the higher one, unlikely the lower one gets hit.
Do you use stops? Hard stops? Time stops? What happens on days of reckoning when you keep on averaging down into your position? Or have you not experienced one of these days before?
time stops. and they are as solid as depleted uranium. no doubt about it, there's a 300 point day out there waiting to put the hurt on me. in the past, about 1/2 the positions have come out profitably because nothing really moves in a straight line, and generally >1/3 of those big moves are gaps anyway so that helps, too. still, it's going to hurt, but hey, every game has an entry fee.
