I don't like this at all. I smell a 100 point pop on the long side.

  5. tao: You said you smelled a pop but shorted again. I'm curious about why. You've taken a lot of short positions in the past few trading days. Have you covered any of them? Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I'm on the bench so far, waiting for a higher DOW to take my short position. Repositioning some stocks, trading a little in those. Practicing discipline on the YMs. lol

I have now 3 short positions. The pop might come after 3pm. I'm hoping to get some money back. Maybe not too smart. Maybe the es made me a hyper trader.

Maybe it's not my day. Sold a piece of CHINA which I bought @9.35 last week for 9-70. It's a profit but this looks to go over 10 today. (piece =1000)

i'm still confused. if you expect a big pop, why are you holding triple-short? i'm momentarily short, too, i'm not saying you shouldn't be (or should be, for that matter), i just don't understand why you would be doing that if your signal, whatever it is, is saying we're going up...?

  10. I hold CHINA myself, and at a loss. You timed your buy really well (stock was down a huge amount in the past month or two) and you got your gain. I figure any gain is good, and try not to look back. We never catch the high or the low -- we make our money in-between, and any gain is progress.
