the system fades the market. most days the market will come back but days like today can wipe faders out.

  2. I know Damir fades the market, but I'm not sure if taodr and kap are trading the same system as Damir

i'm not sure if they trade the same system or not. either way, they were all fading the market today. just proves why the most successful traders trade WITH the the trend of the market.

You're judging just by today. We are not closing out so it's not a write off yet.

damir - your comments are way off base. i do trade everyday. if you want to argue that fading is better than trend following, you can do that. but days like today prove trend following is superior. you guys missed the whole move, are sitting on losing positions, and hoping the market doesn't gap down tomorrow. durable goods and jobless claims are tomorrow morning at 8:30 am est. if those are weak you're probably looking at a gap down. BUT, it could gap up and you might make a little. nothing compared to the profit you left on the table by fading today. that's my point.

until you put your trades out here like the rest of us, you have no point. and until such time as you have the courage to post your trades, please respect this journal by posting...

    ...elsewhere.

no disrespect intended, just the same rules for everyone.

    thank you,
    the management.
