You compare predictions about items that became a must for any house-wife/school student etc.,
with the things that are esentially used by underground scum,
    is that right ?

I only gave the link to that webpage full of predictions that never came out. I just wanted to make clear that all the hypothetical things that are posted about BTC will, in future, be proven as reality or just lies.

My personal opinion is that crypto's are scams that only serve criminal activities. Looks like MLM; average joe pumping up the scam in return for the posibility to make some small money while the whales control everything and take the biggest chunk of the criminal cake.
Just like the small drug dealer that takes all the risk for a small commission, while the big organisers stay out of the picture and cannot be caught while making billions.

    .. you can't make a single valid argument. :)

Yes, governments can ban crypto, end of story. Imagine how much of it is worth when all the HFs have to cash out from crypto and the only thing you can spend it is alpaca socks from Peru.

    Future of money!!

You only need the US, the EU and China banning it and show is over. Retailers can't legally accept it (kind of the purpose of money), so the best you can buy is Russian brides and Indian slave labor. (and the above mentioned alpaca socks)
Nobody is going to give a shit if you still have coins on your laptop and you can trade it with your fellow basement dwellers. You can do the same with WoW levels or whatever.

And there will be no legal protection after any kind of exit scam or brokerage fun stuff (like robotrading against customers). After all heroin dealers don't go to court with their disputes...

  8. This sounds like the current financial market and the banking cartels like Melvin Cap. Citadel, Goldman Sachs, etc. 2008 anyone?

The irony and lack of self awareness in that post is amazing.

Government regulation or negation is possible. But more likely that Bitcoin is more the MySpace than the Facebook of the crypto space. My guess is its price will collapse before other cryptos overtake it. Just no fundamental basis yet to support current valuations. Eventually there will be no more fools to support it.
