  2. Gold Trader,
Just confused at your levels you post, are u saying u are short at
    649.20 with a 652.50 X

That would imply that you are tarding february...........the active month is april now, that is where the liquidity is...........

  7. now prices are unchanged to a tad higher

I wonder what volume has been if we really went

$10-11 lower and back to unchanged in 24 hours
in spot market with futures closed

  8. You know... Oanda's price hasn't changed one cent since Friday's close, $665.60 / 668.10. That's the normal weekend spread, $2.50 (up from $0.40+ on weekdays), in effect from 3:45 pm EST sharp every Friday until late Sunday afternoon.

Besides them, where else, if anywhere, is spot gold tradable on weekends? Tradable, as opposed to quotes displayed.

  9. Tradable weekend spot... SethArb? Anyone? Buehler? Buehler?...

Unless someone speaks up, I'll have no choice but to continue to believe that it's limited to the big O, just like in currencies. Whatever you were looking at, SethArb, was just for giggles.

  10. well, the spot mkt unofficially closes when the futures mtk closes, so i would not trade spot when futures are closed.

Cash dealers use futures a lot to hedge their transactions.

the arb between cash and futures are tightly controlled because of this.....

but u can trade spot gold proabaly at CMC markets
