Composition is mostly done by men that is true. I meant performers.

I have always wondered if the lack of almost no women in certain areas is really due to brain differences or if it is mostly cultural. Intuitively I see no reason why Mozart couldn't have been a woman, but we have almost no women composers of classical music (I can't think of a single one). Chess has Judit Polgar, and Mathematics has Emmy Noether. Music?

It is an interesting scientific question.

  7. I think the question involves breeding over the centuries. Woman were 2nd class for centuries, and thus not given the same education, but currently in quite a few socities they are given equal educations. I know where I am, quite a few of the girls in my kids classes are equals in math, or beyond. Just like many areas of life over the centuries, breeding purposes make a difference, and is a valid reference point to look at and reference to development. We all may have a valid equality when we are born, but ****heads with a bias can change out development, and thus the development of future generations. All should have an equal chance for education.

You don't see too many professional female pilots either.

I don't NOT know this for a fact but the consensus seems to be that the female pilots tend to be either above average as in better than most men or below average. As in they should find another career.
IOW there are few "average" female pilots.

I suppose it would be remiss of me to post without a contribution.
