First of all Good1, in this thread you are speaking in a way that even a simple-minded person like me can understand. In the last thread I thought you were in a delusional warp. There is nothing at all insulting to God here, it was his plan from the beginning. Very simple actually. 1. God is Holy and cannot tolerate sin. 2. His creation, Adam and Eve, committed sin. 3. This sin transcended down to all future generations in their propensity to sin. 4. God's plan was to pay the price for this sin Himself though Jesus by His sacrifice on the cross so that humans are not held to account for their sins. 5. All who believe this and accept Jesus as their Savior do have their sins forgiven and will live eternally in Heaven with God where no mind can even conceive the things He has prepared for us. 6. As far as "pain" most likely Jesus, as man, felt everything any other man felt under that method of execution.
People wonder why God doesn't reveal himself, but He has! 11 minutes of names and descriptions of God in the Bible. God has certainly made Himself able to be known.

Of course you do. You're religious, so as well as knowing all about your imaginary God's conditional love, you could also.. Not only do you speak for your imaginary friend, it means you can also know what and how I will think. Clearly it takes shed loads of self-righteous hubris to be religious. Apparently your God is prepared to fk you over for simply not loving whatever it is that it's supposed to be. Then it remains one of many comparisons where loser God simply can't compete
The beginning? According to Jesus, the devil has been lying "since the beginning", and, since then, it's probably been a very simple matter of telling more lies. The primary lies, i would suppose, are about "the beginning". I've been affirming all along here that anything that has a beginning is a lie, Christ being the truth, having no beginning. What has a beginning, therefore, must not be Christ, must not be the truth, and therefore, must be some kind of lie. It wasn't easy (it was not simple for me to think of), but i have come up with a plan to save everything that comes after "the beginning", all the liars, and even the devil himself if possible. Here is my big plan: 1. God is Holy, as in, Holy Roman Empire. 2. Like Ceasar, God cannot tolerate transgressions against the law within the Empire. 3. God made subjects, to populate the Holy Empire. 4. The first thing the very first subjects did was break the law of the Empire. 5. God, who can't tolerate lawbreaking, knew they would do this, and so, had a plan. 6. The plan was to have someone else, someone who hadn't broken any laws, pay the fines that were due, due to the lawbreaking. 7. Since everyone except his son had broken laws, God planned to have his son, who had never broken any laws, to pay the fines by the lawbreakers that God made. 8. But God doesn't take money. Instead the fines would be paid in blood, sufferings and death...of the good son. 9. Any of the subjects who believe this get a passport that gets them into the best neighborhoods of the Empire. 10. To get the passport, the lawbreaking subjects need to be ok with the pain, blood, suffering and death of the good son. 11. The pain, blood and suffering of the the good son were probably extreme, given the circumstances of the death imposed. But if the lawbreakers are ok with this, then they can get a pass. 12. The best neighborhoods in the Empire have sidewalks of gold, and other amenities that your imagination cannot even fathom. If you are ok with the pain and death of the good son, then this is all yours, and even more, beyond your wildest imagination. So there you have it. That's the plan. Very simple, so simple the child of the devil himself could understand it. I'm sayin this was God's plan since the beginning (so you don't think i'm just making this up). In this way, the devil himself will be saved, and will reside in one of the nicer mansions in the best part of the Empire, because given the choice of roasting under the heat of the sun every day, and given that the demoncrats will probably steal another election, yes, the devil himself will accept the exceeding pain, suffering, blood and death of the good son, and be "ok" with (accept) it. Remember, this was the plan since the beginning (so you don't think i sound delusional).
