    Not at all.

It makes perfect sense that an Eternal Being created things that have beginnings.

What doesn't make sense is that things that have beginnings, that have been created, came from absolutely nothing.

Even evolutionists believe the Big Bang had a beginning...only they don't want to admit that God was the source of the Big Bang when He spoke into existence all things.

The evolutionists have the problem of trying to find the source of the Big Bang...something from nothing.

There was no beginning. I think the JWST will prove that, which will thusly disprove God.

  3. Except that the universe shows signs of a beginning. One of them being that it is an expanding universe. Expanding out means it started inside the expanse.

There's a show I could quote about that, but it is a shitty show. Instead, there is music.

Christians love to believe that carnal humans and evolutionists are anti God, prolly because Christian HAVE TO HAVE an enemy, an adversary, a devil, some being to attack. Possibly this 'enemy' in christians lives are to cover up their own shortcomings and inferiority complex and fear. Christians are like the USA gummint, always need to be at war! :)

Anyhow, what evolutionists attempt to theorize about, is an alternative to the sop preached from the pulpit, ie, perhaps there's a different explanation to life. It's not because they want to hate on God, it's because they have inquiring minds rather than believe what's written in a jewish black book.

In years gone by, christians believed all insane people was possesed by demons, whereas the reality is the cause was disease or birth defect.
I don't think scientists believe in demons, but sure as hell, :) 100% of clever christians do.

  7. @themickey You just love to believe a bunch of lies about Christians. Not sure what is prompting that. It seems an abnormal obsession to me!

Christians believe what they believe because God, who is the great I AM THAT I AM, a declaration that He is Who He is, has spoken to the prophets in ancient times and then through Jesus and then the apostles and revealed to them the truths that He wanted us to know.

We believe because God says it is so. It's not like we get to pick and choose what to believe. Some things that we believe we actually hate....like I hate cruelty and wickedness and the devastating effects they have. I love God for many reasons. One of those reasons is that He is against cruelty and wickedness and someday soon will do something about this problem on earth!

"In years gone by, christians believed all insane people was possesed by demons, whereas the reality is the cause was disease or birth defect."
Perhaps some did, but I don't think all or even most did.

However, demonic possession is a real thing. I always wonder why people don't seem to realize that the demonic activity in this world just proves that the Bible is correct, there is a God, there are fallen angels, just as recorded in Scriptures.

I don't recommend trying to observe the demonic realm in order to obtain faith to believe in God as revealed in the Bible.

I have heard several first hand accounts of supernatural, really weird things happening.

One friend in particular was completely freaked out because she and her friends got a real response to a question asking where a lost item was. They didn't know the answer to the question, but the Ouija board answered it and the item was found. It shook them up so badly that my friend said she would never use it again.

Someone else I knew a while ago (not a Christian) believed her house was haunted because of all the strange things that would happen in the home in rooms that nobody was in. I didn't know the girl very well, but it was bothering her so much that she was talking about it to everyone around and I happened to be in a (non-Christian) group that she described it to. I can't verify that she wasn't making it up, but she was extremely upset about it and that part was obvious to everyone.

It's not like that's the first time any one has heard of a house being haunted. There are a few documented cases. They are kind of freaky and I avoid thinking about them, but the truth is, we are not alone in this planet. The Biblical explanation of God, fallen angels and good angels and people who now experience evil and live in a cursed world makes a lot of sense of what otherwise doesn't make any sense at all.

Yep, it was a silly thing for me to say, I was just trolling, trying to get a reaction.
There are some very nice christians about.
But me thinks the devil is an obsession in christianity, it would not surprise me if 'God and devil' (Good and evil) are just different sides of the same coin.
Like force, there's always resistance, always friction, you can't have one without the other.
    Universal laws.
As for the bible's portrayal of God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, devil, I'm not in a hurry to swallow these theories as gospel.
    Good story tho bro.

The physics of nothing leads inevitably to the philosophy of everything.

An attribute of nothing is its freedom to contract and expand.

Perhaps it really isn't all that difficult to envisage that at the heart of everything there is nothing. No matter, no radiation, no energy, no atoms, no spacetime curvature, no God:finger: . Complete emptiness. A cold isolated nothingness.

Perhaps not all that difficult to think of that nothingness as a state, naturally adhering to the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle at which fundamental uncertainty naturally occurs.

Quantum Field Theory (in b4 "duh, so it's only a theory" - gravity is theory too:p) describes that state of nothing in terms of Heisenberg and spontaneous un-caused field fluctuation. When fields interact, vibration occurs, expressed via that now famous Feynman diagram.
It isn't just "theory" as it happens all the time everywhere, even where there is nothing.

QFT offers a feasible, realistic and naturalistic explanation of how a universe is created from nothing without requiring a God.

If God is anything, then it is a quantum fart in a vacuum.
    :)
