Student, never forget this! Your christianity adventure is an experiment. You believe but have no proof. Your proof which you claim is just hearsay from other actors. You are throwing all your money onto one trade. The bible which is your crutch, is just bs and while your church brethren can prop you up, one day the house of cards will collapse. Like crypto mania, everyone is spurring on everyone, like mass euphoria or hysteria, until it unwinds. Think ponzi.
Jesus did. The writers just recorded what happened. What did you expect? A video recording of Jesus' actual life? God chose to preserve His words through the Scriptures. If He had chosen to use video recording or writing in the sky or some other method, He could have, but this is the method He chose. To use a witness for something is acceptable in a court of law. God has also deemed it is enough. The thing is, God is the One searching hearts and seeing the response people give to truths they encounter about Himself. He knows how to get someone what they need to believe. Also, it really isn't a matter of evidence. It is a heart matter. People want to go their own way and not submit to God as He is revealed in the Bible, but if they choose God's way and His provision through Jesus, then He saves them.
This is where you lose all credibility. So if God chose to, he could have chosen skywriting and video recordings to send his message through Jesus. With a barbaric people who had barely known writing at that time. So God chose to wait 1900 years to invent electricity through man? Yer a goon. I think it is time for you to again experience God's wrath through man. This is God's message to us all. And it is that Jesus is dead. Or alive! Take your pick, for it is all open to YOUR interpretation.
God spoke the universe into existence. He has raised many people from the dead at various times, all to have to die again, because these bodies are subject to death. EXCEPT, for Jesus. Jesus was raised with a physical body that was a new body and similar to the body that believers will one day receive. God brought Jesus, His Son forth from the dead against the powers of Satan that had masterminded the killing of Jesus and in so doing demonstrated that God is omnipotent, which basically means, All-Mighty or All-Powerful. If the God who created the laws of physics that we people, also His creation, have learned to manipulate to produce electricity, cameras, and so on, then yes, this God was absolutely able to make video recordings or even something else better and unheard of, if He had wanted to. People don't need more evidence. If someone wants to believe, there are promises that God will respond to honest seeking of God with the whole heart. Think about it: If people were actually seeing God sitting in heaven and frowning on their behavior, they would not act on their true desires. It is my personal belief that one reason that God doesn't reveal so much of Himself that humans can't excuse it away is because He is demonstrating to the angels and to people the outcome of wickedness. Kind of like the parent that tells the rebellious adult child, "Don't go down that path, there will be consequences, but you are an adult and free to choose to do your own thing and not listen to me."
