I liked the way the matchups went actually. Both teams were physical. Both teams made plays happen on defense.

On the plus side, the Bears ran for 150 yards against a strong defense, which is really encouraging for a team looking to get to the SuperBowl. On the minus side, not a single sack by the Bears defense. Grossman turnovers, well, that is nothing new...

It was a game of turnovers, 9 total by both teams. If these two teams played each other ten times and play similarly to the way they played today, I would expect that the Bears would win between four and six of the ten games. In other words, it would be a tossup.

On a mistake ridden game by both sides, it is the team that makes the last mistake that loses.

  2. New England turns over the ball 5 times and the Bears offense scores a measly 14 points...

Oh yeah, that is really "Championship" calibur play...

  4. The Bears fans have to be the dumbest north of the Mason Dixon line.

To think that Rex Grossout will take you to the promised land is obviously an indication of brain damage.

What gets me, is if I were a Bears fan, I would be calling for Grossman's head...even when they win.

If the Bears got a real quarterback, they would have a shot.

Right now, they are a decent defense with a complete loozer as quarterback...

Oh, and it wasn't whipped puppies they looked like, they looked like Cubbies...

  5. At least you guys got to watch a good game.

I was at the Browns vs. Bengals 'game' and what a joke. Our team is terrible. Very, very bad.

If the Browns play your team the rest of this year, you better win. We are bad and starting to fall apart from within...

Oh well, go Buckeyes! Go Cavs! :D

  8. They'd be 11-0 with Griese at QB. The playoffs will be short lived with Grossman at the helm. He sucked really bad yesterday and it's starting to affect the other players.

  9. A Bear fans nightmare. They go 14-2 and lose in the first game of the playoffs. If they come up against Dallas in that game with Grossman at QB, it'll be a nightmare come true. That'll really suck, especially since it's completely avoidable.

  10. Still, I'd rather be a bears fan at 10-2 than be real happy with my qb on a mediocre (or terrible) team, which is what most of his detractors have to do.
