I hated the Bears in 86. I was a loozer Big Red fan before they moved to Arizona. I was also in junior high. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

  7. A self confessed loozer Big Red Fan, now 20 years later a loozer Bears fan.

    At least you are consistent....

  8. A daily glance inside the numbers from the world of sports:

    NFL
    • The Dolphins defeated the Bears, 31-13, ending the Bears' season-long seven-game winning streak. It was the largest margin of victory in NFL history by a visiting team against an opponent with a record of 7-0 or better.

Miami was the first NFL team with fewer than two wins ever to beat a previously undefeated opponent with at least seven wins. It was only the second time in Dolphins history that they defeated a team with a record of 5-0 or better. The other was a 38-24 win over the 12-0 Bears in 1985.

Well, well, well. What do we have here. Another blowout win by Da Bears. They knock off the 6-2 Giants in NY. Da Bears are now 8-1 with the number one seed in the NFC. OK, bring out the haters!

The first half was uuuugly. The way the offense got their consitancy together in the second half is really encouraging.

Bears have so many ways to beat you now if the offense stays consistant. They also play hard for sixty minutes and don't get discouraged and stay disciplined in the face of adversity...

But what won that game is that they probed for weakness and found it in the Giants secondary, #23. Coupled with controlling the line and a consistant quarterback, that is a deadly combination.

In team sports you are as strong as your weakest link.
