The Colts win -BUT- no colts fans can be found... anywhere. Half of Indianapolis is upset that the Cowgirls didn't win.
I wonder what the game would have been like if it weren't raining cats and dogs.... overall, a pretty clumsy game.
A man had 50 yard line tickets for the Bear's game. As he sits down, a man comes down and asks if anyone is sitting in the seat next to him. "No," he says, "the seat is empty." "This is incredible," said the man. "Who in their right mind would have a seat like this for the Bears game, the biggest sporting event in the world, and not use it?" He says, "Well, actually, the seat belongs to me. I was supposed to come with my wife, but she passed away. This is the first Bears game we haven't been to together since we got married in '57." "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. That's terrible. But couldn't you find someone else -- a friend or relative, or even a neighbor to take the seat?" The man shakes his head. "No, they're all at the funeral."
Well, I blew that call...kinda'. "Bad Rex" showed up and the defense didn't. Can't win like that! I still hate Manning! He whines like a little bitch anytime he doesn't get to throw passes on every down. He always has to put on the big show every down, dancing up and down the line, arms flailing. Colts won in spite of his antics. And what's up with Prince? He showed himself to be yesterdays news. The half time show stunk.
What a heartbreaker for the Bears. Great defense. Too bad they had to spend so much time on the field though. That opening kickoff and interception - - ha ha ha. Ads sucked this year but hitchhikers with ax and chainsaw was good.
looked like a good game to me...it was pouring rain all game long..of course it will look sloppy. Grossman was an upset as expected...
Hmmm, I don't know, man. These guys are pro's, and supposedly the best of the best in this game at this time. Phil Simms said he had not expected the rain to be a factor, and he said it not as a weatherman but as a football commentator who knows his stuff. A wet football is hardly a rare occurrence in the NFL and doesn't excuse bungling something as fundamental as a snap from center and a PAT. That's just carelessness. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the game, it was as good or better than most of the SB's. But it was still some sloppy football. H
how does GROSSMAN's play make this a sloppy superbowl?? you must be a Bears fan i take it...I thought it was a great game and playing in the rain is not the same as playing in the sun makes it that much harder to hold on..I dont care what Simms said...
