Cygnus E Transactions (CYGT) and Sykes/Cilantro Demise

Discussion in 'Professional Trading' started by BrightPropGuy, Sep 4, 2007.

  1. I am talking % Returns from Tim Sykes as Cilantro Fund money manager (not the book of excuses)...

Tim, you hint at giving up the Hedge Fund game in that shitty book: "As such, my Hedge Fund days are over..."(page220)
Makes sense, since most Funds close down when they know they will never get back to the high-water mark...

  3. I also remember reading in the book that Sykes said:"As such, my Hedge Fund days are over.."..(Book is poorly written and boring as watching drying paint).

Sykes, that loser said he was not like all the other Hedge Fund creeps, and would not shut down to avoid the high-water marks....

Well, no big surprise. Someone else said it best: Sykes:BadTrader/WorseWriter

    Tim,
Why not just give us a free link to download the book. We all know it is not worth any real money!

It could be your contribution to ET after all the SPAM we had to get from you!

Have you known Timmay long? The reason I ask is that if you search ET with 'TimothySykes' and the word 'guy' you will find 44 hits.

I don't use the word 'guy' a lot these days, and I think it may be out of favor. Isn't it strange that both you and Timmay share the same choice of words and sentence structure? This combined with your only posts being overly supportive of Timmay....

    Welcome to ET Greg!

  7. LOL. Never met THE GUY, but I just love his book. Simple as that. I actually found Elite Trader by Googling Timothy Sykes and am laughing my butt off tonight at some of these people's comments about the book. It's clear they haven't read it because both my roommate and I love it and it seems like we're not alone, that is outside of Elite Trader.

If I had to guess, I would say all these people tearing Tim down here are probably just one or two guys.

Quote from today on another thread.
If you never met the 'guy' how do you know the details of his recent trades? I just checked and these trades are not in the book. You just happened to Google the book and then found this site? Very interesting indeed....

  9. LOL, you just exposed yourself as not having read the book. Tim's (EFUT) and (CSLR) trades are on pages 208 and 209.

Tim, where are you, you have to remember this post!!!!!! I just exposed one of your haters as an outright liar!!! Busted!!!!!!!
