Why bother when his posts are quoted by people who aren't on my Ignore list?

  3. You know what, He a pain in the ass but he has a track record going...his picks don;t belong in trading but there is a spot for some of them....he throws the ego thing around to mess with people, but truthfully, i have worked wiht guys who also had 26 consecutive winners or more....but that was all in one day..

It's not an obsessional need, speaking for myself. mm stated some time ago to the moderator that he earnestly wished to discuss his methods. Rather than posts about hair, I've tried to honor that request, 'cause, who knows, maybe there's some something somewhere in him that would be good to know. So I've asked questions of Ernest in earnest, but he answers in put downs and other ways of avoiding the question, and continues to do so. So, now I'm satisfied that there really isn't any little diamond in the rough to be discovered here.

    Hey Mr. Market,

Do you short or do you have any hedging strategies?

  6. I agree your posts have been on matters of substance and that he really has not addressed your criticisms in depth. On the other hand, he has performed pretty well over a period in which a lot of mutual funds took hideous losses. To say that he is behind the Russell or Vanguard index for 6 months is fair but not dispositive of the quality of his performance.

I appreciate the fact that all his picks are out there for everyone to see and he has fully disclosed his methods. You can't say that about a lot of pricey guru services.
