customary commission rates as a trader in a firm

  1. all the above are wrong. when you work for a futures house you trade the members account. members of the cme pay i believe 30-40 cents r/t. i've talked a few prop futures houses many charge 50-60 cents r/t BUT TAKE 1/2 THE PROFITS. the best way for the gentlement who started this thread is to do the corp 106 r were i belive the cheapest commish i've seen comes to $1.98 r/t. but i udnerstadn that profram could finally be ending this year. in that case for someone trade 3-5k r/t's a month one has to get an associate seat.from what i udnerstand the cme is very tough on it's members. one has to trade the members account to get the cheap commissions of 50 cents r/t but the member can have multiple accounts. it's not like stocks were if i'm at so in so rate i can give you so in so rate under me with your own account

  4. outside a corp memebership or a member rate show me a r/t for under $3.30 for 2k contracts a month on the es? i've looked everywere and haven't seen it
