Current thinking - teach all religions. I say abolish it all

yes, Russia and China just about outlawed religion altogether, and now the bloodshed in those countries is way down

 

I think learning about all the other ridiculous religions is a good thing because it will make the kids realize how ridiculous their's is.

Plus, understanding deflates hate.

 

I didn't say anything about outlawing. It's about outdating. But feel free to continue sparring with your imaginary opponent.

 

I was only replying to your contention that Christians kill more than your side. They'd have to do a lot of killing to match Stalin and Mao, and they got a two thousand year head start.

Very few things are absolute once looked at carefully.

 

And then they would become weak and become atheist's.

 

no kidding, a lot of these atheists don't understand that the only thing keeping them alive is Jesus...telling us to love one another and forgive our enemies. But if it wasn't for that, they'd see what a right wing nutcase looks like when Jesus is no longer on his side. (and it aint pretty)
