I agree with you about NY being the best place to trade from, but you are in Nebraska. Your order still has to go from Nebraska to your New York server and from your server to the Currenex New York server. How does this reduce the order transit time? Unfortunately, our traders are in the UK and in other countries, so we don't have the same luxury you do.
I see what you are referring to now. I apologize. You see we are taking news providers and piping them into the server in NY which is where the API is that makes the trade decision so the order is routed from NY to the broker. The only order that comes from my home is the order to flatten the trade.

Doesn't sound like it, Nick. I spoke to fxsomebody on the phone and he is a CX rep. fxrelease, sounds like a trader. The way fxrelease describes things leads me to believe that he's not the same guy. That's just a feeling and I'm not a psychic.
not to get off the general topic but..... what are the financial prerequisites to play the "cx" or "hotspot"platform game and bypass the bucketshop brigade?

thanks danger..... i've had unreal success on demo trading and almost made the mistake of my life, but after alot of due dil.......wow! Was it boesky who wrote "den of thieves"? Anyway I've learned alot on this site and btw....no big bucks here, but could swing1-200k . if you see me around i'm not a troll and will try to ask questions i cant get from "search"
Risky, I use CX through PFG..no problems yet, and I have heard that CapitalForex Pro is also good (London). If you look at at WL provider, you should stay away from some of them there, because they spread the platform anyway, so you could still end up at their desk. Most will want at least 50k deposit. I have used HotspotFX, which is also good. Their minimum is only $7,500. They have a good system and PLENTY of liquidity. I just like CX platform better. You can also use a miniprime through HotspotFXi, which is even better from what I am told.
