Don't think you should look forward to that.

IF the Amero is a real concept, the conversion to it would be HUGELY costly to those who hold $USD... that is, all Americans.

Seems all the financial calamity has made ripe conditions for the North American Union and Amero.

The Dollar will be worthless soon once the banks explode that 9 Trillion plus through fractional reserve money creation.

Obama's infrastructure plan is to build roads - and lots of them.

The North American SuperHighway is already under construction in Texas. Oklahoma and other State Legislatures have passed Law banning the construction of said highways through their States.

    OT: re road construction

with all trillions being spent on new road construction and auto industry bailout. I think it's better to allocate this money for conversion to flying vehicles:

real progress, no need in new roads and Big 3 will do something useful (conversion from SUVs to FUVs ;-)

Interesting that you ask, I was thinking about the same thing lately. My choice is Canadian dollar. I do think commodities bull market will return when the crisis is half-over, and CAD will continue to benefit. I am actually planning to open an account, next time I am in Canada.
