Does anyone trade currencies with IB through their IDEAL network?

    Few questions for you...

Can you Bid and Offer and actually get hit?

Is it a fair market with real traders or are you just trading with IB?

Please share your experiences if you have any.

I can't see why you would. The spread is HUGE. It's not very liquid. The margin structure stinks. Go with an FX broker if you really want to trade currencies.

From the quotes I received from Def, spreads

seems to be about 20 pips.

Much better than what you will with your bank

but too high for intensive trading, go

with a forex broker that will offer 5 pips...
