What part of "You stupid SOB" does he not understand?

New York sought to combat violence by rushing the nation’s toughest gun control measure into law after the Connecticut school shootings that killed 26 people, but the state is now carving out an exemption to make sure movie and TV producers can stage running gun battles on Manhattan streets. …

“We spend a lot of money in the state bringing movie production here, post-production here, so obviously we would want to facilitate that,” said Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who wants to expand the film and TV tax credit.

He said movies and TV may use fake guns that wouldn’t be subject to the new law but the industry wants “certainty.” The revised law would allow them to use real weapons without real ammunition.

“There’s no reason not to make a change like that to give an industry comfort, especially when it’s an industry we want to do business in the state,” the governor said.

  5. Check this out from 2009"

New York’s Attorney General Andrew Cuomo is going after retailers for selling realistic-looking toy guns. He’s sent cease and desist letters to more than 100 retailers, demanding they stop selling this contraindicated technology.

  10. It's like Cuomo and Bloomberg are in a contest to see who can be the most idiotic.

I am old enough that I can recall when the rest of the country kind of looked up to NY, state and city, as something to emulate. Now they are basically objects of ridicule and disgust. Other than a financial services industry that is propped up by the federal government, what have they got? Some foreigners buying overpriced condos?

The worst part is that as things go down the toilet, their citizens keep moving to the Carolinas and Florida, thereby polluting two of the last decent places to live.
