You have to wonder why the democrats are going after - and allowing folks to go after - Cuomo at this point.

Personally I could care less what the governor of some state I don't live in does. Cuomo will end up being the best Florida realtor in the country. That's about the extent of my care.

I'd donate to his campaign to keep him around, but why? The Democrats will just pick someone far crazier to replace him and it'll accelerate the downward spiral of NY.

I guess. Or they see him as a threat to a 2024 Presidential Bid and need to remove him now.

Kavanuagh and Trump were accused of doing these things as private citizens; Cuomo has been accused of sexual harassment as governor. Doesn't that make a difference?

Is this the next endangered species?:)

Not to mention the "accusation" if you want to call it that, of Kavanaugh was beyond farcical.

  10. Depends on how his opponents intend to proceed.

For those who have impeachment in mind, then the fact that his alleged offenses occurred while in office and in his present position- although as you might imagine- I have no knowledge of NY's impeachment statute or constitutional provision. But let's go ahead and guess that the provisions are directed more toward conduct in their official capacity, especially since he has been duly elected by new york voters. If he were just a nominee for some position probably you are entitled to give weight to anything you want if you are voting on their confirmation. But for removal of a governor who has been duly elected by the people. Should be a higher burden.

Also, not to forget, that if they go the impeachment route that there will be multiple charges to include the nursing home death camps.

Note that I have no clue where there would be votes to impeach him. I am just saying, yes, if they were to go that route the fact that his alleged offices were committed in office should make a difference.
