That fan who deflected the foul ball better make a fast exit or his balls will be on tomorrow's menu.
HOLY SHITOLI!!!! ITS 97' ALL OVER AGAIN!!!! NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE HEART OF A CHAMPION!!!! EL CUBANNNOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2ND GREATEST COME BACK IVE SEEN....87 METS #1!!
The only type of person who is more superstitious than a trader......is an athlete, especially baseball players. All the mojo died when that kid kept Alou from catching the ball. The Cubs are fucked, and they know it. Lovable losers? Or just plain losers?
Ugh. That was the first baseball game I cared enough to watch in years. Tommorow's game may be the last for the next few years...
Til the Mother F**ckin fat lady sings......now stick that head right back up in there and dont come out til you win the series... Thats right Ruthless..take that lil cub heart right from ya and squish it like a lil fly...... You guys are done....NO HEART......
It was actually the 86' Mets......not 87'....But THAT was an unbelievable game and I trulythink this and the other series makes baseball viable again...this is a real shot in the arm for the sport because everyone is talking ....WOW man ...what a game we just saw and years from now, if the marlins do win it, you will be recalling where you were on that night.
Yes, it was a golden opportunity wasted last night, but screw that whole curse thing. Put this all in perspective, if I told you 2 months ago that the Cubbies would be playing game 7 of the NLCS at Wrigley with Kerry Wood on the mound, people WOOD probably be feeling pretty good about things. Last night is over, nothing anyone can do about it, move on, and take game 7. In the event that the Cubbies lose, I'd be selling e-minis like a fiend at the end of that game cuz if that happens there's gonna be some pissed off locals taking it out on the market tomorrow. Vega
How can the Cubs win when even their own fans are sabotaging their efforts? If that ball in the eighth inning was caught for an out, the floodgates wouldn't have been opened and Chicago would've won!
