Yeah gotta be pretty scary for many new grads, even supposedly "safe" and formerly lucrative STEM degrees. I have an EE from top 10 public uni, and thankfully retired. But I'd be worried AI was coming for me if I was a new grad. World is changing fast...
Sounds rather depressing. It's hard time imagine what society will look like 10 years or less from now at the rate AI technologies are improving. The only ways to make money is to become a social media personality salesman, trade the market, or sell your porn body online.
