Crypto Macro Trends for 2022

It's supply and demand. No one is advising to move LP tokens from 2Omb to 3Omb and vice versa, it's basically a risk/reward personal calculation

The reason for this is that the rewards are 2Shares on the 2Omb farms and 3Shares on the 3Omb farms

So, if you're a 2Share maxi, you want to get your rewards on 2Shares

If you're a profit maxi, you want the highest rewards that you'd sell immediately

If you're a 2Share maxi with big brain profit stacking mentality, you'd move your farm on 3Omb and sell the 3Shares rewards for 2Shares

There was only 1 fork 2Omb which was successful, but as documented on AMA's and roadmaps and diagrams, they are implemented phase 2, 3 4 and so forth

The 3Omb is to increase the capacity of the 2Omb protocol and to support the 2Omb peg while also making sure that 3Omb is above peg

I would push you to the docs and recorded AMA's and diagrams as I've seen you with your convo with tifoli that you are very detailed oriented and reads a lot

I'm too lazy to do that much reading or as I justify it to myself, I focus my time on other stuff like monitoring to make sure that the price and yields and portfolio valuations and bitcoin and crypto news

No, Tomb and all the Tomb forks are independent. It's a good thought though if a few Tomb forks achieve a stable above peg and function as FTM proxies in the Fantom network ecosystem

Many Tomb forks fail after a short time. Only 2Omb is the successful one so far. Even more successful than papa Tomb

Tomb folks hate 2Omb, but many are moving to 2Omb for many reasons the most important of which is that 2Omb has been above peg as well as the 3Omb now

I'm not seeing where to pu 3omb. It's not listed on Spooky. Is the only way to get it through the genesis pools?

Unfortunately, the only way I've been able to work with 3Omb and 3Shares on Spookyswap is to input the contract address manually

There's a lot of liquidity for 3Omb and 3Share because of the LP farms

Hopefully in the future Spookyswap will add the tokens as they did with 2Omb and 2Share and with the proper logos

*** on the subject of Tomb fork protocol ***

It's an interesting concept and one that has a need on the Fantom network due to the node requirements

But also as a concept of having a stablecoin not pegged to a fiat currency like the US $ something that is different to other projects like MIM, DAI, UST, and other algorithmic stablecoins

anyway, just pondering. I know on Badger, there was a btc-peg token as part of experimentation using rebase protocol algorithm to achieve peg stability

Tomb protocol is trying to achieve peg stability through seigniorage, or central banking, money printer go brrr

This guy made a video yesterday on 2Omb, but I've only started watching it

Also there's a live AMA tonight, if anyone interested, the zoom link will be posted on 2Omb discord

"Take your profits, Please, please, please" on the 25 minute mark

This is from the community leader of 2Omb

I never traded, I only bought when the price of the tokens were higher than today and I'm currently in profits

The only losers are the traders, which are basically pumping the project liquidity as they are using the LP farms to trade in and out

2Omb community is keeping their losses as profits and being distributed to all the hodlers in the form of yield rewards. NFA

Yikes!! Just realized the past 10 posts or so from me on this thread have been major shilling of the 2Omb project

The title of the thread is crypto macro trend so it's not supposed to be focused on single crypto asset project, unless it's Bitcoin or Ethereum which are market leaders in their crypto space

As much as I want to share alpha and (what I think) are profitable opportunities, I'll limit to more generalized macro crypto theme such as defi, i.e. yield farming rather than individual project names

    and as always

This is just a deeper look into the broader theme of DeFi and L2's.

I think shilling is when promoting a speculative asset unprompted or as a tangential reply to a comment. You've been forthcoming on the extent of your knowledge with what is admittedly a degen project. All risks are one's own in following this thread, understood and nbd.

I missed the whole ohm/time/wonderland/forking saga and attempting to understand the cutting edge of innovation after-the-fact.

It's been a pleasure to do DeFi on FTM, the fees are inconsequential and the settlement times are faster than ETH. It also doesn't seem to have the baggage that BSC currently has with shitcoins.

How do you think Tomb will fare with the growing popularity of these forks and in time declining risk?

I also missed the ohm/time-wonderland but in hindsight is a good thing. It's possible I could have gotten out with profits but more likely I'd have lost

Agree with you strongly that DeFi on the Fantom network is great for the reasons you mentioned

Tomb is working well and has plans for continued development of ecosystem with their upcoming ohm-fork on Fantom and their own dex, Felix with a native token

Many or most of the Tomb fork projects are failing or have failed. It is very difficult to stay above peg without a well-funded treasury and a highly organized team which Tomb has

If unable to stay above peg, there is no money printing which is the value proposition of the Tomb protocol

I think the forks help Tomb and to bring awareness to this defi space and Tomb is the blue-chip

I have liquidated all of the Tomb crypto assets and currently do not hold any. The TBonds can be redeemed when Tomb is above 1.01 peg for 1 epoch and Tomb has been above peg for a couple of days

This is from 2 days ago, just a couple of snippets from my paid on-chain subscription, prolly nothing...

"Price is now at extreme discounted levels compared to on-chain demand"

"...signs that institutional money is now re-entering the market"
