I think he hopes it evolves into something longer term.

It's a medium term hodl (eoy and assess)

When the OP was posted, everyone was making fun of an ugly drawing of an ape selling for such a high price, yet here we are, the price of a Bored Ape is still going up

Perhaps one should look deeper?
