Hardly. While there are real dilemmas and most likely unintended consequences from it's rapid roll-out, it's a tool and will be an extremely powerful one as those who recognize the opportunity. Just like the roll-out of the commercial internet leveled the playing field, the unexplored uses of the tech is offering a similar opportunity rn. I just spend most of my day exploring how chatGPT can diagram, use pre-existing knowledge graphs and ontologies. My mind is literally exploding with so many possibilities,... hard to articulate. Whether it becomes a net positive for humanity or becomes weaponized for misinformation remains to be seen. My enthusiasm is also being tempered by this occult/esoteric interpretation of a Rudolf Steiner prophecy being fulfilled about the rise of Ahriman.
