why did $WTI go nuts yesterday while bigger oil companies saw a moderate bump? They're not the only offshore driller in town?

edit: nvmnd, looks like offshore drillers were the no-brainer choice yesterday...fuck

Volatility continues, Saudi say it will take quicker to resume full capacity than expected.
Gaps to be filled on both sides....

Hello guys, I am new here and I hope this is not off-topic question. After alleged Houthi/Iranian attack on Aramco's assets I start monitoring what will happen when the oil markets will open. To cut a long story short, I saw a CFD on (Call Option 53.5 | Nov) went up c. 250% while on the other hand, CFDs on (Call Options in the range 57 - 61 | Now) went all above 300%. Isn't logical that Call Option 53.5 | Nov should go up higher than i.e. Call 60.5 | Nov ? Thanks for comments !

CFD's are not traded on central exchange like futures so that might be part of it but also when volatility gets to be abnormal like now, weird things can happen but in general closer to the money have higher delta and will move more than out of the money options but if out of the money was very cheap it may show a higher increase in %.
I recommend trading exchange traded products personally.

73 million shares of DWT traded today. 2 of its most volatile days ever. A 12% move that was preceded by a 39% move.
    ....And look where it closed.
    "$4.40 ish".
    Magic pencil. ;)
    j/k.
    Lucky guess. :D

Looking good for those who bought oil shorts on Monday. I loaded up on nearly every oil short available, especially DWT.
Oil numbers out today so will see the reaction this morning

OK , the worst thing about a good long term trend, it can drawdown some. LOL. But fast forward looking @ both sides of the trade; CME front month contract is going down again. I checked CME contract specs to be sure, no limit low limit, on front month WTI. NOV, DEC are going down again, again .
OIL service tends to be a weak sector,as you noted but i haven't checked those lately. WTI cant even go up of weekly/daily Don channel, lately. NOT a prediction, just a downtrend comment....................................................................................
